    Body Shame & Eating Disorders

We live in a world that constantly tells you that your body is never good enough. This message often feeds painful disconnection between one and their body, leading to behaviors like food restriction, binge eating, and fixation on calories, exercise, and weight. Imagine what it could be like to deconstruct this internalized message and instead foster a trusting relationship with your body. We can reconnect you to your body’s internal cues and wisdom through an approach grounded in compassion, respect, and evidenced-based interventions.

  • Perfectionism

Perfectionism often begins as a way to protect ourselves. We are striving to get it “just right” to avoid criticism, failure, or feelings of inadequacy. Over time, it can become exhausting and all-consuming, leading to burnout, self-doubt, and disconnection from what truly matters to you. Together, we can explore the roots of your perfectionism, shift the inner critic’s voice, and create space for self-compassion, flexibility, and authentic living.

  • Queer Identity Exploration

Whether you are questioning, coming out, or deepening self-understanding, exploring your identity can be complex, isolating, and challenging. It may bring up layers of joy, grief, uncertainty, and unexpected life changes, often shaped by the environments and messages you’ve encountered. In our work together, you’ll find an affirming and nonjudgmental space to explore the multifaceted parts of who you are, honor your experiences, and envision what living authentically means for you.

  • Family Systems

Families are living systems, constantly shaped by relationships, communication patterns, and shared histories. When conflict, misunderstanding, or distance emerges, it can impact each member’s sense of safety and belonging. In family therapy, we create a space where each voice is heard and respected, and where difficult topics can be explored with curiosity rather than blame. Together, we can strengthen connection, improve communication, and foster a more supportive and intentional family dynamic.

  • Grief & Loss

Grief and loss is far more expansive than its common affiliation with death. Loss can also look like changes in relationships, moving, loss of culture, exploring identity, and changes in health. Grief can be a deeply complex and powerful emotional experience that should never have to be navigated alone. Let’s make space for the nuances of your grief as we find ways to support and nourish your internal experience.
